Concert of the Vienna Strauss Philharmonic Orchestra
For the first time in its history, the Vienna Strauss Philharmonie Orchestra will perform in Skopje.
The orchestra is composed of 27 musicians from around the world, carefully selected by an international jury especially for this tour.
The ensemble is conducted by András Deák, who has collaborated with renowned groups ( Wiener Mozart Orchester, Vienna Strauss Philharmonic, Calgary Philharmonic, Vancouver Opera, Chicago Civic Opera, Budapest Strauss Orchestra). In 2004, he was awarded the Hungarian State Order of the Knight's Cross for his outstanding contribution to the art of music.
The evening program includes works by: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johannes Brahms, Joseph Haydn, Antonín Dvořák, Gioacchino Rossini and, of course, the Strauss dynasty.
